I bring my personal values into every space I enter, whether that be a classroom, a laboratory, or a conference. These values include aspects such as:

UndocuAlly: Through CU’s Center for Inclusion and Social Change, this training provides students, staff and faculty who want to learn more about how to support DACA and ASSET students.
Mental Health First Aid: From National Council for Mental Well-Being, this is a skills-based training course that teaches participants about mental health and substance-use issues.
Open Educational Resources Training: Through OER Network, trains teaching staff about the benefits of OER, discovering OER resources, and the broadening of OER as an option for courses
Universal Design for Learning: Via CU’s Center for Teaching and Learning, this workshop provides primary knowledge, models best practices, and offers implementation tips for the classroom
Overdose Prevention & Response: Via University of Maine, this training aims to educate participants on the opioid crisis, harm reduction strategies, and the use of Narcan to reverse overdoses
